90s Anime Pick

Image
It was because of my sister that I got hook up watching anime. I was still six back then when she introduced me to a cute anime series that became my favorite childhood anime now. Before I got into Taiwanese/Korean drama, watching anime was my leisure. Because Netflix/watching online wasn't very popular back then, I used to eagerly looking forward in watching my favorite anime in their designated airing time in Animax (a television channel that airs anime series) . In those days, it's hard to follow the over-all series as watching it isn't very accessible considering that I was still schooling and most of the time they air it during the day. Hence, I didn't get much of its storyline, however… fastforward… when online anime sites/Netflix where already a thing I tried to finish some of my favorite old series and it's truly a reminiscing experience to do it. If you're looking for a light and funny, classic old anime here are my picks for you. Cardcaptor Sakura

Unto My Senior Clerkship

Image
Can't believe that summer is over and a new school year just begun. I badly need extensions for the academic-free days but all these are inevitable. This month, we are having a clerkship orientation and after which is our daily online classes and scheduled hospital duties. In addition, we are also preparing for the medical equipment that we will be using in the different clinical rotations, new books to read on, and our new uniforms ~ talk about the expenditures . Medical school hasn't always been easy. My life was always rough and probably would be expecting a lot of it still in senior year. But because I have been through tough times, my hopes for success this year is at the peak of my utmost optimism. The learnings that I gained? I actually want to make that as a stepping stone to guide me through this school year. I apparently want to have fun this year -- to enjoy my last year as a medical student. I also want to be productive -- to fill myself with medical knowledge tha

D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park Experience

Image
Two weeks ago, we went south in a road trip with my dad and little sister. It has been months since I visited the curious place of   Davao City . I describe it in such way since I heard my father say that the place is expensive compared to the other cities in   Mindanao . I was just surprised to hear that knowing that I always imagined   Davao  (base on my   Araling Panlipunan  subject) a small and humble city, but now I think there's more to it apparently.   However, I will not talk about   Davao City  here but of the resort we went for family day/advance birthday bash - It's the birth month of my dad and little sister!   We arrived at  D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park  around two in the afternoon. Since it was our first time (except for my little sister who just went here with my aunt) we were directed to the hotel lobby and was introduced to an available   standard  room by the receptionist.    We paid a little bit bigger than what my dad expected

Favorite Milk Tea Flavors In Our Local Shops

Image
Milk teas/bubble teas/bobbas are one of my all-time favorite drinks. I don't know but I really love the taste of tea with milk and a bit of flavor in it -- it's a perfect combination! I fell in love with milk teas the first time I tried it eight years ago when I went to a famous local milk tea shop, Chingkeetea . I tried their classic wintermelon and I can't even...it was like heaven for my tastebuds!  Since then, I was fond of drinking milk teas and I had it regarded as my comfort food.   So far, Chingkeetea is the best in making bobbas among the shops I have tried. They have a distinct tea flavor -- it's incomparable and I just want to say that I'm proud of the owner's prowess. The shop was originally a feasibility study of a student in our college and it was, I think, the first bobba house locally and I was so amazed how her business boomed. And because her shop was near to our school we always had a drink before going home. Nowadays, milk tea shops are al

Promoted + My Plans For Summer

Image
So our school year just officially ended last June 3 and it has been a waiting game for us to see our final standing. Been spending most of my first few weeks of summer staycation playing games and updating my blog and finally, a letter of promotion was sent through our email…   AHHHHH!!! I'm officially a senior clerk 😭😆🙈🙌🙌🙌   This pandemic was really a unique ride for me. But I think it's also a learning experience that I needed to put in my heart to make better choices in the future. I was always on the edge this school year but at the same time continuously mindful of my thoughts and ways of coping. I was better than before but not much, so I wanted to let this year be another stepping stone that would help me become good even more in the future.   At last! I can finally say I'm academic-free now! Two months of summer break but I think half of it will be spent in our pre-clerkship orientation and training. Also, I usually spend the last month reviewin
